The-Wood is an impressionistic vision of a world thats epic in scope and beyond the waking minds power of comprehension. It is a fractal like piece of art that contains within it many pieces of art. It is a 3d exploration game that is one of its kind. It is an attempt to connect the present possibilities of technology with past examples of creative genius.
At its heart, The-Wood is a gigantic art gallery. Scattered throughout its 18 meticulously sculpted terrains lie over 100 pieces of art by such master artists as Leonardo Da Vinci, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, and dozens more. The collection of art was handpicked to showcase some of the lesser known masterpieces of art.
The-Wood is a showcase of art, but its also so much more. The layout of its many paths are a neural network similar in structure to the human brain, but smaller in scope. A network of over 50 portals connect the spaces in unlikely ways creating an exploration experience that is brand new every time you play.
